We have been busy with little house projects, an overnight work trip, and lots of little kid birthday parties!
Carli is breezing right through pre-k. We registered her for kindergarden (tear are flowing) and have conferences with her teachers next week. I cannot wait to get a chance to sit down with them. She really enjoys school and has made a few new besties! It is really sweet and I love to hear about what she is learning.
We did a little mommy and mini trip a few weeks ago. We got a room at a Hampton Inn and spent time swimming, eating snacks, and watching movies in the big bed. It was a much needed "rest" for mama and some one on one time for Carli girl!
Kennedy is already 4 months old! She is such a happy girl. She lights up when she see's Carli and loves when you smile and talk to her. Her giggles are amazing and she has found her voice and will sometimes just yell out to hear herself....and get our attention. Her 4 month check up was awesome and she took the shots like a trooper....obviously, she screamed her head off but quickly settled and loved on mom and dad the rest of the day.
We haven't started solids yet but may introduce cereal or oatmeal soon. She is sleeping 9-11 hours a night and we don't want to do anything to mess with that!! We did start letting her sit in her high chair at the table with us and she loves it!
Carli loves holding Kennedy. Now that she can hold her head up and is a little more "sturdy", I don't get as nervous! She thinks feeding her is "fun"! I just have to figure out a way to get her to think diapers are fun too!

We are looking forward to Valentine's Day, a long weekend, and hopefully a sneak peak at spring soon!!
